Dear Principals, Teachers and Educators:
Take the LEAP with DanceONTour!
DanceONTour is an interactive, action-packed dance arts programme designed by
The School of Dance and composed of three inter-changeable, complimentary parts:
- In Part 1, we visit YOUR SCHOOL with one of our ballet, contemporary or jazz dance workshops giving YOUR STUDENTS the opportunity to observe and then dance;
- In Part 2, YOUR STUDENTS can visit The School of Dance to see our professional training in action and work with the artists of The School of Dance;
- In Part 3, YOUR STUDENTS could come to the National Arts Centre to see one of OUR hour-long dance performances
DanceONTour provides an opportunity for YOUR STUDENTS to:
- participate in the creative process
- ask questions
- work with highly skilled artists including choreographers, dancers and musicians
- learn in a unique peer-to-peer environment
