Four original presentations of cutting-edge dance performed by students of the Contemporary Dance Programme.
New Dance Series includes student creations as well as works by some of Canada’s most sought-after contemporary choreographers.
“The New Dance Series 2011-12 allows the public to witness the growth of emerging dancers and performers,” says Sylvie Desrosiers, Director of Contemporary Dance Studies at The School. “From Solosin the fall to Action in the spring, the dancers are constantly being challenged, improving their technical abilities and refining their stage presence.”
Imagine a few years from now, when seeing the dancers in full flight, you can say “I remember when…”
