An eight-year programme, plus a potential qualifying year, of ballet training rooted in classical technique (including pointe studies and repertoire) with supplementary education in music, history of dance, creative movement/contemporary dance, jazz dance, character dance, body image, nutrition, anatomy, theatrical makeup, choreography and composition, stretch and strength, and career counselling. Graduates of The School are working internationally as company members, directors and choreographers.
2012-2013 Auditions will take place on June 16, 2012; students who are accepted at stage one of the audition are recommended for summer study with final decisions made at that time.
The School also accepts videotape auditions for out-of-province/out-of country students. Evaluations are possible on a person by person basis at any time of the year.
