The School’s Summer in Ottawa (SIO) Elementary 4 Programme encourages young dancers to strengthen their technique while developing their artistic expression. Students study weekdays. Dance subjects include Classical Ballet, Introduction to Pointe Work and Musical Theatre.
As the Elementary 4 programme includes Introduction to Pointe Work, students new to The School of Dance should contact the main office to arrange an appointment with a member of The School’s artistic staff to confirm their readiness for pointe studies. On Monday, July 2, The School of Dance is arranging for pointe shoe fittings on site. More information to follow once registration is completed.
