The School’s Summer in Ottawa (SIO) Programme encourages young dancers to strengthen their technique while developing their artistic expression. Students study weekdays with master teachers of Ballet/Pointe/Repertoire/Variations accented with Contemporary Studies including Hip Hop, Contact Improvisation and New Choreographies. Enrichment courses include Healthy Dancer Workshops, Safe Stretching, Nutrition for Dancers and Performance Preparation.

 

The SIO Programme is the first step towards entering The School’s year-round programme designed to train the next generation of professionals.
