The School of Dance Summer in Ottawa Dance in the Nation’s Capital!

The School’s Summer in Ottawa (SIO) Elementary Programme encourages young dancers to strengthen their technique while developing their artistic expression. Students study weekdays. Dance subjects include Classical Ballet, Introduction to Pointe Work, Boys Work, Dance Discoveries, Coaching Class, Stretching, Enchainment & Dances and Musical Theatre.
Students will be assessed to confirm readiness for pointe.
2013 SIO Elementary teachers include Merrilee Hodgins, Suzanne Plante, Louise Clatney, Nenad Duplancic, and special guests.
Summer Celebration Showcase on Friday, July 19 in the Auditorium of the National Gallery of Canada. Tickets are free of charge for families of registered students.
